Wonderful
The brilliant narration really draws you in with such a sexy, smooth voice making this book a joy to listen to.
An amazing midlife/housewife fantasy brought to life by thrilling writing. It ends with a tantalizingly good cliff hanger leaving you desperately needing the answer to “will she/won’t she?” I cannot wait to find out.

The Ticket
Everyone that’s married jokes about being given a ticket or token to use on that one person if your significant other does something wrong.
Well Owen did do wrong and when confronted about it by Cris confirms it. She tries to let it go in sake of their marriage but when talking about with her friend comes to a chance to use a golden ticket.
The book starts with Cris being infatuated by a neighbours son Beau, and at first I believed she was going to be the one who strayed from her wedding vows but was surprised by what occurs.
There’s an undeniable connection between Cris and Beau. And their time together in the Big Easy was super hot. I’m not sure I could have done what Cris does here and I haven’t a clue where all of them will end up but would like to hear the next book to hear what does.
Felicia Palmer was great at expressing all of the emotions and feelings of all of the characters in this audiobook. Including the little girl.
I was gifted this audiobook at my request and this is my honest opinion.

A trope not many like...
But I absolutely loved.
Cheating in romance novels is such a big no-no. But guess what it’s realistic. Everything the FMC was going through was relatable.
This was my first Aidee James book and I know it won’t be my last. I need to finish this series.
Cris, heartbroken over what her husband did, is given an opportunity she just can’t let pass by.
Owen, broke his wife’s heart and now has to live with the repercussions.
Bo, an innocent bystander. Down for whatever.
Honestly I didn’t think the Author was going to give me what I wanted. But she did and that hooked me.
I also listened to the audio and I felt all the emotion come through from the narrator. When she was sad, when she was excited. It was overall just a great read and experience.

Not sure
I’m kind of in limbo with this book. It blurs the lines of what I feel is acceptable in a good strong marriage. However it is the perfect revenge. I’m not sure I could’ve gone through with it myself however it is a refreshing difference to see the female lead going through with this action. Excellent narration.

3.5
This book was very interesting and it definitely stretched my comfort level and thoughts on cheating. I don’t know how I feel about the whole thing. I would give it a solid 3.5. If you have a strong stance on no cheating, this is not the book for you.
The story was very intriguing and I liked the idea of tit for tat, but at the same time it felt a little harsh to need the revenge on purpose. I feel like there is a huge difference between an in the moment mistake and a premeditated one.
Either way, I enjoyed the story even if it made me a little anxious at times. I really enjoyed the narrator, she did a great job bringing the story to life.
