About this listen

The brilliant mind that presented the world with A Brief History of Time offers more insights into the mysteries of the universe.

Based on a series of lectures given at Cambridge University, The Theory of Everything presents the most complex concepts of physics—both past and present—in a clear and accessible manner. Acclaimed physicist and author of A Brief History of Time—which has sold more than 25 million copies—Stephen Hawking enlightens audiences and exposes them to the rich history of scientific thought and the complexities of the universe in which we live. Hawking presents a compelling look at our universe, its creation, and how we see ourselves within it.

Brilliant!

There is a lot to know in the unknown. Now I know I know even less than before.

Interesting book, albeit at times complex.

A very interesting and well structured audiobook. Perhaps owing to my basic understand of modern day physics, I found some chapters quite complex, but nonetheless I will be following it up with A Briefer History Of Time.

The simplest Physics material I've ever came acros

Wow. Bless him, R.I.P Professor. You stand high amongst Humans. Your theories are gold dust. " I'm May be bound on a wheelchair but in my mind, I'm free" . This book is asking a single question.

Is it possible for humans to unravel the secret of the inner working of the universe?

Did the universe start from a point just like the stars and the galaxies.

If so , then the universe started from a point and expanding or have reached its full capacity and contracting.

Great arguments are raised in this book. I'm gonna listen to it again. 🚀

The book itself I thoroughly enjoyed

But on occasion, Michael York sounded like he needed a drink. You could hear his mouth moving. Was a little off putting.

Good but hard going.

Really interesting listening but at times lost me with theories. I did learn quite a bit & he was certainly a very clever man.

Concentration required

I didn't understand or follow all of the theories in the book, but have been able to get a layman's understanding. Needs concentration to follow the flow of the book. Not an easy read but extremely interesting.

interesting ... only few queries

an interesting subject and and a capable attempt to simply a voluminous field of research. sort of forces you to reconsider our place and priorities in life. i shall have to listen to it again and research topics since to me some of the examples used to explain some points proved incoherent. worth reading nonetheless

Very interesting

Really enjoyed this book, I found it very interesting and even from someone who knows very little about this subject I could follow along just about, the readers voice is a treat to listen to also, although I slightly wish it had an option for Steven’s voice also 😂 I’m sure he would laugh at that as he had a great sense of humour. Definitely worth a listen 🎧

Repeated information

This book repeats almost word for word his last book I listened to but was much shorter and still cost a credit.
