Summary

The invasion left him without hope. But no one was prepared for the war he would learn to wage.

Ben Hutchins buried his anger to survive. Stranded on a ravaged Earth after a devastating alien annihilation, the haunted young man has nothing except his late father’s cutting-edge exo-suit and a veteran soldier for company. But when he uncovers the truth about his armored prototype, he unwittingly paints a target on his back for those who seek humanity’s destruction.

Forced to flee the attacks, Ben can feel the rage and resentment building as he discovers he might be humanity’s only weapon against utter extinction. But with his abilities fueled by fury, saving the human race may mean becoming a monster.

Can Ben save his people without losing his soul? The Terran Menace is the action-packed first book in the Terran Menace military science fiction series. If you like jaw-dropping reveals, gripping action scenes, and learning the cost of war, then you’ll love J. R. Robertson’s military sci-fi epic.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. Excellent character building and a really good story. Additionally, I actually laughed out load at points! Second book has been purchased immediately after I finished.

Gripping, thrilling story with slowly revealing li

My first book by J R Robertson, I think he'll go on to become one of my favourite authors. The Terran Menace, is one of those gripping stories you can't put down and are desperate to find out what will happen next. Paul Heitsch does an amazing job on narration, the reason I picked up the book in the first place was because I knew he'd do a great job bringing it to life.

Looking forward to more Mr Robertson!

Great!

Loved this story. I particularly like ones with AI this has everything. The narration is fabulous as with anything done by Paul Heitch. Now on to the second.

I listened to the end

If you want a handbook of clichés and predictable plot points then this is for you. The narrator managed to make it listenable.
