About this listen

The end of the world with dragons and Levels

The world ends in a slew of blue notification boxes, bringing with it a game-like existence including monsters and Classes. Now, John has to make his way from Kluane National Park in the Yukon to Whitehorse through monster infested forests. But, that's not enough; because he'll need to help rebuild civilization itself around the System, aliens and monsters. And, as always, humanity will be its own greatest enemy.

This collection contains the first three books of the highly rated System Apocalypse series (Life in the North, Redeemer of the Dead and the Cost of Survival) and completes the first arc—Whitehorse and the Yukon and the first year of the apocalypse.

The System Apocalypse contains elements of games like level ups, experience, enchanted materials, a sarcastic spirit, mecha, a beguiling dark elf, monsters, minotaurs, a fiery red head and a semi-realistic view on violence and its effects. Does not include harems.

enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

when I read the turning earth to a dungeon. I thought oh another dungeon crawler Carl. who's is so good. but it's not. it has its own story and not televised. the main character is rather good. he has his issues and he's not an op god. give this book a try I think you'll enjoy it

Not bad.

Revisiting this storyvafter few years. One of the oldest litrpg series,it was a groundbreaking book in the time. After few years thou it did not age so well-or maybe its me not liking how emo MC really is,or how his emo idiocy is boosted by narrator with his very intense voiceplay.Overall story is not bad, idea is good, only MC personality and narrator made it worse for me,bad combination in my opinion.

The System Apocalypse Books 1-3

I very much enjoyed this for what it was, an apocalypse turning out to be in the format of an RPG, if that is what you are expecting then you will be fine. There is a good deal of description and interaction between people as well as fighting. I am now looking forward to the next book. :-)

Great Narration - Not Good Story

Gave this a second chance and just like the first time I cannot get into it.

I actually made it further this time and turns out MC is gay, makes a lot of sense so that was a straight return.

I wish the authors would stop pushing this woke agenda on us and let the men be men.

tried it didn't finish it.

MC is really unlikeable. arrogant for no good reason. only seems to feel annoyed and angry at everything. but in a way that feels petulant.
