I am enjoying the series much more than I thought I would, another great installment ending on a cliffhanger, on to the final part.

I still can't get my head around Van-helsing as the bad guy in these stories, but it works.
I enjoyed the historical back stories for each character more than the main story. This made me look forward to those chapters and maybe took away something from the overall book. Having said that, I'm straight on to the last book!!
