Summary

A chilling, addictive psychological thriller from bestselling thriller writer Keri Beevis

One sister murdered.
One brother jailed.
One love betrayed.

Mead House was once our childhood home. Despite my fears, I always knew we would have to return to face the demons of our past. Back to the place where it happened, to where, as carefree teenagers, we lost our elder sister in the most brutal of circumstances.

As executors of our grandmother’s will, my twin brother, Ollie, and I needed to empty the house for resale. What I didn’t expect to discover was my sister’s secret journal that contained her most private thoughts and shocking dark secrets.

Now I am questioning everything that I saw that night.
Did I get it wrong, who I saw?
Did my evidence send an innocent man, my then boyfriend's brother, to jail for the last 17 years?

I know I have no choice. If I want to find answers, I will have to go back to that fateful night my sister died. When she made her last visit to the summer house.

A tension-packed psychological thriller that will have you gripped.

Perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Claire McGowan and Lisa Jewell.

Bored with it .

I have 3 hrs to go , and I find it slow and boring. Waste of money. Where are all the twists and turns ? Don't understand how people rave about it .

Might just be my favourite Keri Beevis book !

Wow absolutely loved it! When you think you know who and what...believe me you don’t. Exciting from the beginning till the end.
Had to finish it in one sitting . Ps narrator did also a 5 star job and really brought this story to life

Good story

Good story but I felt it took a bit of time to get going, I did go back to it after the one failed attempt at listening to it and the more I listened the better it became. Stick with it, enjoyable and a good twist.

The Summer House

It was okay... ish. For me it felt as thought there were parts at the beginning of the story that should have waited until later. The characters are sometimes a bit childish despite their age. The premise wasn't bad, but the presentation didn't work for me. The final act felt like it dragged on forever. By that time I just wanted the story to come to a close and it really felt never-ending.
