Scary Detective Story.
This was my first Jo Nesbo novel and it definitely
reminded me of Steig Larson. It was an excellent
listen with a well matched voice. I found myself
listening at every opportunity. I even admit to a
little shudder from time to time and I am not easily
scared. Can't wait to hear another from this author.

Second listen, even better!
I'm working my way back through all the Harry Hole' books and they are even better the second listen round, I just hop Jo Nesbo gets another book out before I'm finished, otherwise a third listen might be on the cards.

I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes hard to follow with the nordic names but a few chapters is all it takes to get into it.

Chilling
This isn't a book for the faint-hearted - Jo Nesbo really knows how to build tension and there are some vivid descriptions of crime scenes. It's well paced with great characterisation, and kept me guessing till the end. I think it's unfair to compare Nesbo with Stieg Larsson, though (as seen on the book cover), as they have very different writing styles.

Couldn't put down
I loved this audio book, one of the best I have ever listened to. The narrator was prefect, I couldn't stop listening, the story was gripping. I felt I was in the story scary will definitely listen to more of Jo Nesbos Harry Hole crime thrillers.

Very Cool!
Very good listen kept me on the edge of my seat whilst driving - long distances were over way too quickly. Just bought the latest Jo Nesbo both great

Engrossing
This was good, my first time with a J Nesbo and enjoyed it. Sean Barrett has the perfect talent for this type of story, excellent narration and will look out for more from him in the future..
