Enjoyable

Books 1 and 3 were good, book 2 I almost gave up on. Narrator is good but her female characters voice in book 2 drove me up the wall.

Awesome books

I'm a huge fan of Nicole Poole and listen to whatever she narrates. I was glad to discover Dannika Dark through listing to NP.

I struggled with the second book because I couldn't handle listening to April's voice. Nicole Poole is the best narrator ever and she can do so many tones and accents. But that high pitched but quiet voice did my head in the whole time. I had to have the book turned right up to hear her and then turn it down for the other voices.

The story lines are so good though and Nicole Poole did all the other characters perfectly. I just can't handle that high pitched sickly voice. Nicole Pooles vocal range is seriously impressive though and this is the first time I've not liked her voice.

This entire series is a magnificent addition to the world build started in the Mageri Series. It isn't connected during these three books but the world is the same & there is a familial connection later on!🌍👍

I thought the narrator did a good job bringing these characters to life.👍 I highly recommend this box set & series!🌟🎧

I will miss the characters of these awesome books!

This is the 2nd time I’ve listened to Books 1-3 because each story and all the characters cleverly woven into each book is the 1st series that left me with that warm feeling you get when words touch your heart . I just adored them and can’t wait for the next one xx

A completely ok romance with shifter tendencies

NOTICE: I only got through the first of the three books in this set before giving up.

Performance: It's ok. Not great. I won't avoid the narrator in the future, but I won't actively look for her performances either.

Story: I don't hate it, but don't love it either. It's a B-romance. You'll listen to it, then forget about it immediately afterwards.

Overall: I can't quite get around the fact that Dannika must never have met a 6 year old before. And with her little sister being 6ish years old... this bothers me. I've got kids, and a school age kid is generally not napping during the day and spending 24/7 watching princess movies. It seems like they've actually got a 4 year old. But that number wouldn't work well with the numbering system of the book series.... I'm not going to listen to the next book in this series unless I get really really bored.

I could not finish book 2

I liked book 1, but could not finish book 2. FMC was just waaaay too irritating with all that holding back information, yet still being the victim all the time bs. I cant tolerate this much of that personality, it just gets to me. Honesty could have solved the situation ages ago, and hours later when shit came out and everyone even forgives her, she is still not straightforward with the people around her. I just can't finish this book, got so mad I did not even skip to listen to book 3. I am leaving a trigger warning to people like me.
