About this listen
A chilling thriller brought back to life with enhanced audio, featuring new narration by Hillary Huber.
“Koontz is brilliant.” - Chicago Sun-Times
An ordinary parking lot in southern California. Christine Scavello and her six-year-old son are accosted by a strange old woman.
"I know who you are," the woman snaps at the boy. "I know what you are."
A scream, a threat - and then a grotesque act of violence. Suddenly Christine's pride and joy, her only son, is targeted by a group of religious fanatics. They've branded him the Antichrist. They want to kill him. And they are everywhere...

could the twist be real?
the readers voice was nasal and I found that a little annoying, the story was interesting however at times the descriptive paragraphs went on too much and held the rhythm up.

Disappointing Story
I have read and listened to a lot of Dean Koontz books but this is the first story I was going to stop listening too. The book just didn't flow well. They can't all be winners, was just disappointed it wasn't up to his usual standard of writing
