Wasn't expecting this story so thought provoking
Stumbled on this and thought I would listen.
Family life and its predicaments comes in many forms, and this is told in a real honest way.
Georgina's story is fascinating, I couldn't stop listening.
I will proceed to reading her book called "Raceless: In Search of Family, Identity, and the Truth About Where I Belong"

The revealing side of DNA
I couldn't stop listening to this wonderfully revealing explanation for the reasons and drive to find out about her genetic origins and unknown father. A well researched and responsible piece of detective work with DNA at it's centre. If your interested in family history and/or knowing about your ethnic identity then this is a must listen.

Captivating and candid!
I loved this audio book as I drove to and from work. I am from a black African background and have a blended family. Our differences only bind us closer.

The Consequences of Omission
Georgina's autobiographical journey into issues of race and parentage and the confusion, questioning by others and later loss of trust and opportunities she experienced from her family's insistence that she was of one hundred per cent Caucasian Irish parentage when it was obvious that she wasn't. The complicity of friends and medical professionals in covering it up and, as she puts it, "ignoring the elephant in the room". Georgina also discusses fidelity and fatherhood, donor conception and child kidnapping, both sides of the Atlantic. The low score is because the other speakers were quieter and not as clear as Georgina herself. The sound quality could have been better. The end should have been earlier, with sharper editing.

Everyone should listen to this with this secret
I have always said honesty is the best policy! The truth always finds you! I hope everyone with a similar secret shares the truth as early as possible to avoid mistrust, heartbreak and discord.
