Dr Watson Or Sherlock Holmes

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Holmes, or anyone who enjoys a mystery.

What about Simon Shepherd’s performance did you like?

Simon Shepherd's performance was great. Very credible. Very much as we would expect A story about the great Holmes to be read.

Any additional comments?

I listened to the start a few times before I could kick the idea that this wasn't written by Sir Arthur, then I took the plunge!
Once I did I found it very enjoyable, written in a style that so easily could have been the work of a modern Sir Arthur.
Please try it for yourselves, you will find it worth while.

Mildly entertaining

What would have made The Secret Journal of Dr Watson better?

The story was somewhat enjoyable if improbable, but had the author's grammar been less questionable this might have improved the experience.

Has The Secret Journal of Dr Watson put you off other books in this genre?

I don't know of other books in this genre, so I really couldn't say.

What didn’t you like about Simon Shepherd’s performance?

It was OK, but some of his accents were pretty awful.
