About this listen
Scene Stealer (noun): an actor who attracts attention when another is intended to be the center of attention.
The glow of fame only casts shadows. The name Devyn Dane was once lit up amongst the stars. Everyone worshiped me. But now, I’m on the edge of darkness. No one warned me about the fall. My crash was lethal. These days I’m nothing more than a forgotten child star with a tainted reputation.
Redemption is what I need. When a chance is handed to me, I vow not to blow it - I can’t. This could launch me back to stardom. But nothing is given freely in Hollywood. Everything comes with a price. This time, mine is a bombshell waitress battling insecurities deep enough to rival even my own.
The resilient Larsen is a mystery I can’t wait to unravel. Her brokenness makes me feel not so alone. But together, we are a complete mess that should never work. I know it, Hollywood knows it, and someone is hell-bent on making sure we don’t beat the odds.
I truly believed she was my ally. An added boost on my rise back to fame. But the shine of Hollywood masks many things. She broke my focus, pulling me away from the most important goal.
That’s the thing with a scene stealer - you never see them coming.

Beautiful Story
The Scene Stealer is a well-written, contemporary second chance romance. It's a riveting tale about two broken people taking a chance on love. A Hollywood actor and a waitress. They are on the opposite spectrums; one hides in the shadows, and the other shines in the spotlight. Yet, they both striving to find their place in the world. Renee Harless's exceptional writing and her phenomenal characters captivated me from the very start to the end.
The dual narration by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro is outstanding. They both captured the essence of the characters and poignancy of the scenes, I am wholly impressed. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I enjoyed this story
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are great and are going through some really tough situations in life. My heart went out to Devyn and Larsen. I can’t imagine being an addict or having scars so horrible on me that they are painful. There are many ups and downs. Just a little angst. Nothing too bad. A very interesting story. The narration was great I definitely recommend this book.

The heart stealer listen
This story will have your heart on a platter and deliver a delight . This author wrote a strong story which is full of love , getting your priorities straight, full of mystery and making the right decisions. This story is about 2 broken souls that feel that they aren’t loved, they feel that they aren’t meant for happiness, till they meet each other. They meet each other by chance the way fate meant them to . The town was very small, in the part of road that nobody travelled .
Hero is Devlyn . Heroine is Larsen .
Devlyn is an actor that has to stop drinking to make it big . But when he finds out his parents want to see him again he just takes off . Larsen is living in a small town with her uncle . She’s survived a real bad accident and she’s scared all over . Larsen goes into herself and just survive without joy . Once they get closer someone starts sending Larsen threatening letters about her life . Once the couple gets closer the letters get more threatening but not only for Larsen buy for Devlyn . This is a beautiful story about surviving and learning to find out happiness.
Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro performance was great. They did the tone for each character was great . They make you go right into the story

lovely story, two fabulous narrators
I have just finished the audio version of this book and I loved it, it was fabulous!
It has made me laugh, cry and swoon, it was full of heart and emotion. Both Devyn and Larsen have been betrayed by the people who should love them most, so trust comes hard for both of them, until fate brings them together. But Hollywood is a fickle place, could the media attention be too much for Larsen as she starts to come out of her self imposed shell?
Larsen was such a beautiful woman, but life and people can be so cruel to a person with such visible scars and she tried hard to stay hidden in the background, until Hollywood star Devyn burst into her life. My heart broke for her and her history. Devyn hasn't had it easy either, these two just fitted together like a jigsaw. They saw the real them beneath the masks they each wore and it warmed my heart how they calmed each others storm, despite someone deviously trying to keep them apart.
It is told in dual pov and the two narrators were fantastic, so expressive and perfect for each character. I'd definitely listen to or read more from this author as she gave the story depth and feeling all the way through.

Tim and Kelsey narrating in dual narration- say no more
I’m coming off a long haul of listening to some very dark books so this one came off really tame for me 😬 yes there was angst but I wanted to scream at Devyn for not trusting Larsen a few times in the book! I know they both had some awful things happen to them from their family members but I had hoped that the trust was stronger, he really didn’t show much trust at all until the end. Sure he wanted her and she wanted what she could from him but even that kinda Peed me off. An enjoyable book yet wanted more grit, definitely a great easy listen and a HEA that was predictable but enjoyable all the same.
It was my first listen to Tim Paige and I can feel the connection he has in doing narration with Kelsey, there styles mesh together seamlessly and I will seek other collaborations between them.
I was so lucky to have won this audiobook from the author and this review reflects my opinions only.

okay
Okay but plenty of room for improvement. Developing the story further would haveben better. Narration was good.
