Summary

Promising follow-up but...

I really want to like these books, the characters are appealing and the ‘universe’ has great scope for development. But. And it’s difficult to say this but the author, Mr McCracken, needs to have a much better editor/producer. And a greatly improved recording suite. At around 2 hours in, the author reads the same passage twice, we can hear pages turning, the reading pace fluctuates erratically and it is really disconcerting. Apologies, and please keep writing. But perhaps find a different voice artist.
