About this listen

"Girl - this, this is war." After being reborn and becoming a magic wielding soldier in the Imperial Army, Tanya Degurechaff bemoans her fate of being placed at the very edge of the front lines instead of a comfy place in the rear. Swearing revenge on Being X, she plunges head-first into battle, dragging her subordinate along with her!

Bring back the narrator from volume 1

Why even change the narrator?
It's really ruins the the sense of immersion when the narrator changes between books

Improve Chapters

The VA was great I enjoyed thier performance but it got confusing at times when they change prospective to a different character in the same chapter, apart from when she's voicing the main character, it was hard to distinguish most of the other characters. I think it would have helped a lot if the chapters were broken up whenever the prospective was changed

Proper Bri'ish!

The voice actress, while different from the first, does a perfect impression of the "Londinium" accent. Very impressed.

Good voice actor just disappointing they changed

I liked the first one best but the new voice actor is good at what they do so it's not like I can rate it down for that. It was clear who was talking when much clearer than the book alone so it is worth getting just for that fact. The audio was nice and clear from static as you would expect from a audiobook made in 2022.
I would recommend it as it was a good audio book for a good book but it could have been better if they used the voice actor from the anime but oh well this one is good anyway.

Same production mistakes a different VA

The production is once again atrocious, but at least the story is good

Production: lines re-raid, footnotes in the middle of the chapters.... same as the first one. Makes one wonder.... did anybody.. and i mean ANYBODY proof re.... listened to it?

Story: good

VA: The new different VA is a lot better than the previous one, it's 100% obvious. BUT! She's unfortunately vastly, VASTLY inferior as the voice of Tanya. Furthermore, it sometimes difficult to figure out who's speaking. Generally, she's easier to listen to, and her delivery is obviously stellar, but as a voice of Tanya... no bueno.

If you have opinions, the MC is annoying

probably my only complaint is that it is highly unrealistic that anyone would believe that free market economics solves everything like the MC thinks. the writer had the mc have divisive opinions on what I said before, and on religion. the character hates religion. I like that they were not afraid to do that. Good job writer!

Just couldn't get into it

I really liked the first book in the series, but this book just lost me interest wise. The change in narration is a problem, the new narration lacks the definition of character/thought/third person the original had and I found myself frequently confused as to what I was listening to. The story as well this time is very thick and hard to follow. Shame for a series I thought I'd enjoy a lot.
