About this listen

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Romanov Ransom by Clive Cussler and Robin Burcell, read by Scott Brick.

The discovery of a long-lost airliner...a modern-day kidnapping...and the return of the most terrifying evil the world has ever seen.

When a kidnapping captures the attention of treasure-hunting team Sam and Remi Fargo, they find themselves on the trail of the legendary Romanov Ransom - a Russian fortune stolen by the Nazis during World War II.

Hunting a neo-Nazi faction across Europe, North Africa and South America is their greatest quest yet. They must prevent the rise of a Fourth Reich, or witness the resurgence of the greatest evil of the modern world.

From the finest adventure writer alive, Clive Cussler's dark and thrilling mystery will keep you awake late into the night.

Treasure hunt through snow and djungel

Who doesn't like a good treasure hunt ... and with the Fargo's it is turning into an adventure from Russia to South America. Bad Nazis hot on their tail and finding friends in strange places. An enjoyable travel through different countries with the added spice of people shooting at each other. What's not to love...

Great!!

Clive Cussler never gives a dud story. They are informing and a great fun and this is no exception. Oregon is my favourite but I pre-order everything he writes. Scott Brick tells the tales brilliantly as usual.

A good story

A very well written book, a little predictable at times, but still an enjoyable adventure.

Fun with the Fargo's....

The general layout of each book in the fargo series is similar, but that doesn't detract from the action and adventure within each story. This time Sam and Remi are on the hunt for the Romanov Ransom, and their adventures take them around Eastern Europe and South America. Their unbelievable luck continues to shine on them!
Great fun and frolicks from Clive Cussler. Scott Brick is superb as always.

Another brilliant Clive Cussler novel

Another Fargo adventure taking you all over the world full of intrigue, fun, laughter and very well written. These books cannot be written fast enough for me and love listening and reading them time and time again.

Annoying Narration!!!

I love Clive Cussler books!! I have done since I started reading him 30odd years ago and I’ve read all that he wrote solo. The premise of the Romanov Ransom intrigued me - so I put Cussler and the story together and downloaded the book. An hour in and I couldn’t listen anymore....I’m sure Mr Brick is a respected performer but his limited voice talent ruins this listen. Any female is voiced as the same effeminate gay man, any European comes off as a cartoon rendition of Herr Flick the Gestapo agent in the BBC’s Allo Allo.
I’m sorry Audible and Mr Cussler - this one was a waste of my monthly subscription.

Ramanov Ransom

I found this book to be utter rubbish. This was not helped by the fact that I had to keep restarting every chapter from 60-79. I am very unhappy with this service
