About this listen
I’ve been rejected by family and locked in a mental hospital for believing the fae exist and roam among us. I was ready to rid the world of the burden of my existence until I learned the truth. Madness isn’t my curse. Destiny is. Thrust into a mysterious new world, I discover the truth of my heritage and a love that knows no bounds in the arms of Brynjar. Now, I have a brother, Aric, who I didn’t know existed, and people depending on us to protect them from threats of the destruction of Yggdrasil. When Brynjar looks at me I feel more alive than ever before. For the sake of him, and my new family, will I sacrifice everything to stop the peril facing the Nine Realms?
Fans of high-octane fantasy, laced with swoon-worthy romance, are sure to be swept away by The Rise of the Vörður!

Exciting fae story
Loved the magic and world building. The storyline was intriguing and kept my interest.
Narration was clear and the female narrator did a good job at portraying a young woman.
Not gonna lie, the music over the glossary at the beginning was too loud and quite unnecessary.
NOTE: ends on a big cliffhanger.

This is my first book about fae, it was great, the characters were likeable and a great story to top it off. the narration really suited the story, it kept me engaged. I will read more in this series and I now like the fae lands.
