Summary

A chance to reconnect.

A chance to get revenge . . .

Emily Toller has tried to forget her time at university and the events that led to her suddenly leaving under a cloud. She has done everything she can to forget the shame and the trauma–and the people involved. She has tried to focus on the life she has built with her children and husband, Nick.

But events like that can’t just be forgotten. Not without someone answering for what they’ve done.

When an invitation arrives to a University reunion, everything clicks into place. Emily has a plan.

Because if you can’t forget–why not get revenge?

A fresh, original and strikingly relatable psychological thriller, perfect for fans of ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL.

Great story, until the end

Hated the end, really ruined the story for me. Argh. It’s meant to be “I’m a strong independent woman” and all it really is “I’m a selfish woman who ruined someone’s life and now won’t tell them the truth as it doesn’t suit me”.

Rather unbelievable story

It started out ok but became more unbelievable and far fetched as the story progressed . The main character Emily is not very appealing .

Bit long winded

It went on a bit and as a previous reviewer said was quite a predictable conclusion.

overall very good, although I did predict the end

narration was fab. I liked it all.
An easy listening book I'd call it! But I still couldn't wait for each chapter!

Not bad

This wasn’t a bad book, but I’d worked out the ending round about three quarters of the way through. It’s was ok though and kept me listening just in case I was wrong.

Unsatisfying ending

This story is quite slow, and the ending is pretty unbelievable and unsatisfying given the build up. The main character isn’t very likeable.

All description….

Of the reunion event with absolutely no story; really do not bother. Glad I only paid £2.99 even though it was originally in my wish list.

CRINGE

The cringeworthy narration combined with dreadful dialogue was only rivalled by the deeply unlikeable protagonist. Was after a beach read, ended up ditching after Henry tells her he has “chills multiplying”. Worst thing I’ve attempted listening to in a long time!
