Summary

An eye for an eye....

Once the top dog, Danny Mckay has walked away from his old gangland life. He’s on the straight and narrow now, looking forward to settling down and living a quiet life.

But trouble seems to follow Danny. And when his own family is caught up in a shocking event, Danny is dragged back into the gangland world, hell-bent on revenge.

Danny’s determined to make someone pay, but the rules are different this time around—old friends are enemies, and Danny doesn’t know who he can trust.

And as Danny gets closer to the truth, he realises that the consequences of his own actions could destroy everything—and everyone—that he loves.

What a wonderful book

Really didn’t want this book to end I was gripped from start to finish, and what an ending, have read all Kerry Kaya’s books including all the Carter series and didn’t expect that ending. Kerry Kaya is a brilliant writer and every book has been good She uses the nbarrator Annie Aldington who transports you to the story and spoils us for any other readers. I hope there will be a follow-up very soon never tired of the Carters/McKays

Great story

Great story really like these books. Bit too much eyebrow movements and puffing cheeks out etc. failing that fanatic listen.

Solid but unspectacular tale

The Reckoning is my first ever Kerry Kaya book. It’s an enjoyable listen but very one dimensional when compared to author Kerry Barnes, who has multiple storylines on the go. I bought it for the narrator Annie Adlington, who didn’t disappoint. In my humble opinion I think Kaya’s books need a few more twists.
