I love these characters
There’s an innocence to this leading lady that i really enjoyed. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved how the next book was being introduced subtly throughout. A brilliant performance.

The Rebound
Well Laxmi you've done it again, another great listen. Loved Declan & Solene's story. Just enough angst and heart warming moments. Cannot wait to listen to Knight's story

I love a great second chance romance
"The Rebound" by L. Steele, narrated by Shane East and Rose Dioro, is an enthralling standalone audiobook that surpasses the already high expectations set by the author's previous works. The story takes the concept of second chance romance and enemies to lovers to a whole new level, adding steamy and engaging elements that keep listeners hooked from start to finish.
Solene and Declan, both media sensations in their own right, grapple with a complicated relationship marked by secrets and a significant age gap. The chemistry between them is palpable, creating an emotional rollercoaster that fans of romance audiobooks will thoroughly enjoy.
Shane East and Rose Dioro bring these characters to life with their exceptional narration, perfectly capturing the passion and nuances of the story. Their performance immerses the listener into the world of Solene and Declan, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended for those seeking an audiobook that blends intense emotions, captivating characters, and a storyline filled with unexpected turns. A must-listen for romance audiobook enthusiasts.

Brilliant adaptation
Sloane and Declan first met when she was fourteen and far to young. That meeting had dire consequences for Declan. When they next meet he offers to take her to LA and help her with her singing career. The sparks that fly between them are electric. But with their relationship work with all the lies and half truths they tell each other.
I loved this story from start to finish, I could not but this book down.
The narration is great.
L Steels books just get better and better.

Great Performance
Shane East and Rose Dioro did an outstanding job narrating this book. Unfortunately, I feel that the story was too long, I would’ve appreciated it more if it was shorter.
L. Steele has a way with her stories, I would love to know what her brain thinks constantly and how she comes up with unique stories like this one. The plot was ok, but I feel that Declan’s behavior needed to improve toward Solene.
Overall the performance was on point and loved the accent representation!!!

Hot & Swoonworthy!
When I started listening to this, folks told me it's full of all the intense angst. Boy, they weren't wrong! It was! I was completely enthralled by this story.
Declan & Solene are great characters. I loved watching them together from the start to the finish. Their story had a lot of ups and downs and twists throughout the fake relationship but the more I listened, the more I wanted. It was a crazy, wild ride but they did it and they did it well!
I absolutely love Shane East and his narrations. His voice is *swoon* so addictive! He did a magnificent job being Declan to life, filling my ears with all the emotion, all the angst, all the sexiness. And, Rose Dioro was fantabulous as Solene. Every emotion was captured beautifully with her voice! This was a phenomenal duo to tell the tale!
𝙻. 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚎 is a talented author who takes her readers/listeners on a roller coaster ride they won't forget. Can't wait to listen to more!

A fabulous narrating duet
Is it just me or does L. Steele’s books seem to be getting hotter and the s€x filthier with each new release? The Rebound was a hot and steamy lovers to enemies to lovers again story, honestly, I got dizzy trying to keep up with the current state of play with Declan and Solene’s relationship. Was Declan out for revenge or was he trying to save Solene in her innocence from his full-on Dominant attentions and his desire to make her into the perfect submissive? I couldn’t make up my mind. Solene seemed to be a natural sub and although she was completely inexperienced, she knew what she wanted and not only could she handle Declan’s depraved desires, but she also wanted more. That didn’t mean she submitted to him in everything. Their relationship was volatile with Declan often being the one to trigger her temper which was explosive, and I loved their verbal sparring. He’s definitely the most dominant and overbearing hero we have had to date from this author but just when I’m thinking he’s a complete alpha hole and I hate him he then goes and buys Solene a bookshop stocked with all her favourite reads and that was it, I was a goner for him! You can keep your diamonds; buy me my very own bookshop and I’ll happily crawl on my hands and knees for you Dec!
Well, what is there to say about Shane East that hasn’t been said before. Honestly, I would listen to this particular narrator recite his shopping list and be happy so with his performance of the dirty talking Declan I was in heaven. Whether you loved or loathed the character of Declan, Shane was spot on portraying all his passion and frustrations making for a fabulous duet with Rose Dioro’s interpretation of wannabe singer Solene. For me, her portrayal was spot on with all the arrogance of a teenager but with a tremor of uncertainty when it came to Declan and as far as I could tell, her Italian accent didn’t slip for a second.
