Summary
Wyatt's life was not destined to be simple or peaceful. Raised as an orphan by an aunt, he never knew either his mother or his famous gunfighter father. When his aunt dies, Wyatt is run off by her brutal husband and eventually taken in by a rancher and his family. During his teens, he sets out to avenge the wrongs done to him and his kin, ultimately hooking up with some highway men and starting his life as a gunfighter - the Rattlesnake Kid.
Running from the law he ends up in Mexico, where bounty hunters track him and his gang down. A snake’s rattle is the only warning they receive that they are in danger and a gunfight is imminent. After narrowly escaping that ambush, he and his gang soon must deal with crooked lawmen who want his new family’s land and target them to draw him out.

What a great western!
Wyatts and died, his uncle and cousin almost beat him to death. When Wyatt ran away he got caught sleeping by some Indians who were going to kill him but didn’t. They did steal his belongings and left him in the desert naked to fend for his self and this is when he was taken by a kind family. The new town he lived in was run by Fielding‘s Louis an evil man who took over the town and wanted to run things, but he couldn’t run everybody and that included why it’s new father. Eventually the villain would shoot his dead and burn down the building where his mother and two adopted sisters were living. Field thing Lewis ‘ body count rose, he blamed it on Wyatt who was known as the rattlesnake kid because just like a rattlesnake Wyatt gave you one morning and that was it. The only thing was is why it only killed in self-defense until the murder of his family then it was for revenge. This book was really good I especially loved that he fell in love with a blind Spanish singer named Tonya and I love the Philip McCormac didn’t make her dependent like most people tend to do in writing about a blind person. I loved his depiction of Tonya and the love she had for Wyatt and her brother. This was a great action packbook the romantic is a minor part and I highly recommend this book if you love westerns you’ll definitely love this book. I listen to the audio version and must say the narrator did a bang up job when narating this book. I gave him and the book 5 stars in they deserves everyone of them. Please forgive any grammar or punctuation errors I am blind and dictate myreview but all opinions are definitely my own.

Don't mess with this kid!
An excellent fast paced western about a young boy who loses his parents and is adopted by his Aunt, his Uncle and cousin hate him and make his life a misery until they try to frame him for his Aunts death. Wyatt runs away and makes a new life overcoming many traumas along the way. A truly intriguing story with a bit of romance thrown in. Highly recommended listen.
