About this listen
A tired, hungry man once came to the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for help. When there was no food at home, the Prophet asked if anyone could host the man for the night so that Allah would have mercy on them. An Ansari man volunteered, but he and his wife had only enough food for their children. They chose to put their children to bed hungry, giving all they had to their guest. The next morning, the Prophet shared that Allah was amazed by what they did. This story is authentic, told to us by the most noble of the messengers, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and was collected by Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) in his Sahih.
