About this listen
Using Eastern philosophy and Western clinical techniques, this book delivers five practices that are simple enough to be used by struggling couples outside the therapy office, yet sophisticated enough to repair the complicated issues couples face over the course of their relationship.

Incredible book, a must read!
Of the many books I've read around relationships this is undoubtedly one of the best. Lair strikes the perfect balance between making the content very accessible and relatable while also explaining the thinking or science behind it in an understandable way. He breaks down the material into five key concepts which permeate the book. Each one is explained with clarity and examples that bring everything to life. As well as giving the understanding he also shows exactly HOW to practice in in your relationship. Even if you only applied a fraction of what you learn in this book you will radically improve your relationship. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Next level relationship wisdom
As someone keen on psychology and the notion of a couple working on themselves and choosing to work on the relationship this book is next level. For example it takes the notion of love languages and says “yes and” when it comes to choosing each other. It tackles how to take personal responsibility to get away from the “she never and he always…” while introducing the notion of various aspects of self that may have served us in our stories but are now sabotaging our relationships.
