He must pass through the Slough of Despond, ward off the temptations of Vanity Fair, and fight the monstrous Apollyon. In Part II, his wife and children follow the same path, helped and protected by Great-heart, until for them, too, "the trumpets sound on the other side."

An inspiration for Christians
An engaging and helpful allegorical tale, to correctly inspire, gently chastise and motivate those on their own pilgrimage.
No matter who you identify with in the story, perhaps all the characters at some point, you will leave inspired to know that with your lords assistance, you will make it to the end.

Amazing, and incredible narration
I’m not religious in the slightest yet this is my favourite book of all time, and the narration by David Shaw Parker is the best I’ve ever heard in a story. Would recommend to everyone.

One of my best
This title always leaves in me a longing for Heaven and be with the Lord. Also several points for meditation in the Word of God.
I will always recommend to any pilgrim, as we are called to be by Peter the Apostle, for edification of the Faith I. the inner man!

Peculiarly Lively retelling
I loved the interaction between Christian and all the other characters. It’s a commentary on the Christian faith and human life.
