About this listen
To rescue her friend from a loveless marriage, a daring woman dons a disguise and finds herself captivated by a mysterious rake in this "perfect Regency romance" from award-winning author Anne Gracie.
In three years on the marriage market, Grace Merridew has never met a man whose kiss stirred her senses. So she makes plans for a life of adventure instead - to see the moon rise over the pyramids of Egypt and dance amid the marble ruins of Greece. But first she must help a friend in need....
Timid Melly Pettifer is being forced to marry Dominic Wolfe, who stands to inherit a huge estate if he weds. The Wolfes have a terrible reputation, and if there's one thing Grace cannot stand, it's a bully. When Melly begs for assistance in escaping her impending nuptials, Grace acts as the plain and mousy chaperone on their visit to the groom-to-be. But when they arrive nothing is as they expect, and Grace is scandalized to find herself being pursued by a big bad Wolfe....
Contains mature themes.

The Perfect Kiss
The last book of the series. Grace is determined to prevent her friend from marrying a man who doesn't want her but who is bound by his horrid fathers will or he'll lose his inheritance. What a conundrum. She hides her identity but falls for him herself. He falls for her but can't marry her. Another sister in a fix. Another great story.

The narration was great
loved this story and the way the narrator used different voices for the characters. I have listened to the series and have been enthralled! Just what a good story should do!

An excellent series
Although I have enjoyed this series and although the plots were all very different they were let down by poor narration, this last one being the poorest I had no idea where Dacre was from, I thought Spanish but apparently not. These books deserve better narrators.

Another wonderful storyline
A fitting finale to an excellent series of books about the indomitable virtue sisters. Not sure which is my favorite but looking forward to reading them all over again. Narrator is absolutely amazing with her accents and different voices for each character and someone I look for when selecting a new title.

Too many Inconsistencies.
The heroine comes from a family that believed in their mother's dream. A dream that helped them survive their brutal early life.
Suddenly this dream doesn't count, she believes her evil Grandfather without asking her sisters.
The Hero's property has managed to survive generations of evil and good owners. The Question is; is it entailed or not? If it is, then it can't be sold or mortgaged. Even if the family is heavily in debt and starving. Nor can the Heir be prevented from owning the property, once the previous incumbent is dead. No complicated wills or arranged marriages can prevent it. If not entailed, how did it manage to survive the years of turmoil? Why was he looking into Entailment?
Since these two major inconsistency are the root of the story, everything else is rather pointless.
However, if you can ignore them and other minor inconsistencies, then it is worth listening to.
This story is really all about the sex and the story is woven through the sex. I find it throughly unbelievable, vicars kissing women on meeting them and so.
The supporting characters new and old help the story to have body.

Disappointing
I really wanted to rate this higher, I really did. Because the previous 3 books in this series were excellent. Especially book 1, so I have no idea what went so drastically wrong here.
It a passable story and I wouldn’t be so annoyed, except that the other books were so, so good. I feel like I’ve been cheated out of something.
Grace was such a great character. I’ve been listening to her growing for 3 books. She deserved so much more than this. It’s a shame I paid for this on audible, because I can’t donate it on to the local charity shop.
This is the biggest weakness of audible. I’m stuck with a book I’d rather not remember purchasing.
