Unexpected
I truly thought I knew what happened. I knew the way this story was going to play out, but boy was I wrong! This story was an edge of the seat can't stop listening, thrilling experience. I loved all the different point of views and all the different characters we were getting to see all the angles from.
I was hoping for a happy ending for all the characters and was heartbroken when that wasn't the case, but the way it ended was very entertaining and I was pleased with the ending.
I loved Indira Saraf and her creativeness and genius, she was so smart and inventive, she brought so much to the story and I wanted to see her happy in the best way!
Mallory Riggins was a vital part of the story and her part was heartbreaking, yet amazing.
I didn't believe it was Amar from the beginning, he seemed to kind, but I know people can surprise you I just couldn't see it.
Indira shocked me at every turn, she was impressively good at what she did.
I loved this book and all the unknown that came with it. It kept my interest throughout the whole book and I couldn't walk away.

Interesting storyline
This is the first book I've listened to by Chris Patchell, and I'm interested in listening to more. The description is a bit misleading as it's written from the perspective pop of the middle of the book, and there's a lot more to the story. Overall, I liked it and would recommend the audiobook to listeners who like thriller/suspense novels with a slow burn into the action. It was also interesting to hear different perspectives on personal privacy and data mining.
The audiobook is narrated by Allison Voller and new-to-me Stacy Carolan. They were both easy to listen to and I wouldn't hesitate to listen to them again.
I received a copy of the audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.

My kind of listen!
Starting this in the car with my husband, we listened carefully. New characters, a kidnapped girl, a few possible suspects but nothing concrete enough to go on yet. That leads us to our main characters, Indira and Amar. Siblings, pulled in different directions by their parents to carry on the family traditions, their closeness never stops. But a murder accusation throws everyone and everything into a whirlwind of grief, fear and guilt. Now it's up to those that believe in Amar's innocence to connect the dots and find the killer. Indira is hot on the trail, but will she find the answers? Twists, turns, traditions, passion, taboos, you name it, Chris Patchell throws it all in, and the best part? I had no idea until the end who the killer was! This is best kind of mystery/suspense book, keeping me riveted with new technology, and all that goes with cyber stalking as well as a list of characters I needed to analyze and eliminate as suspects. This is a fabulous listen if you love a book that makes your heart race and challenges your mind.
Allyson Voller and Stacy Carolan bring out the best voices for this thriller. Each character, the perfect sound, using accents and cadence to bring a realistic feel to each one. I was captivated by their narration and could not stop listening. They delivered a fantastic performance.
