About this listen
Barren, unwanted - a lot of omegas would have given up. But not Holland. Tired of living down to others' opinions, he reaches for something more and seduces the new alpha, only to fall so far in love he can’t see the moon for the trees.
Quin’s ghosts won’t leave him alone. He lives like a ghost himself, but Holland’s shining light gives him courage to reach for healing and, maybe, a family. Except, Holland has his own unhealed wounds, and he refuses to mate, until disaster in another pack reminds them both how fragile life can be.
From that disaster arises a new determination, and Quin and Holland set out to change their world. And through it all, the secret of the true omega begins to unveil itself, bringing hope and fear in its wake.
This story is full of love and family, disaster and triumph.

And you begin again, sometimes you lose,
sometimes you win, but you begin again. Even though your heart is breaking, in time the sun will shine and you will begin again. ~Barry Manilow~
This book was everything!!! I absolutely loved it! I read some of the comments of how long this book was and I thought they were crazy! It wasn't long enough I wanted so much more of Quin & Holland!!
Their relationship was beautiful, emotional and just heart breaking all at the same time. I felt so bad for Holland and his yearning to have babies of his own to take care of. I also completely understood his resentment towards Bram. There was so much going on with this book and it was fascinating! The fire in one of the packs enclave was so tragic! I went through so many emotions when they were dealing with that situation. I couldn't believe (and yet I could at the same time), but how naive and arrogant the humans were. Even to their own kind they acted like a bunch of morons. I just couldn't fathom being that bigoted of an individual! The two children that Holland and Quin adopted were so sweet and cute! I also completely enjoyed their mating ceremony and how they made it their own! Just going and breaking down certain tradition barriers. I know the author hasn't stated it in any of the stories yet, but my conclusion of the "True Omega" is that when Omegas are actually treated right and cared for properly they have special powers that show. So I think technically all of them have these powers in some sort of capacity. I know they talked about how there are strong and weak omegas as well as alphas, but if the other Alphas and packs put more value into omegas I think they would thrive as well. Not just this one pack even though Mercy Hills is obviously ahead of the game when it comes to just treatment of omegas in general. I'm interested to see how it all plays out with the new journal that was found from the omegas point of view and I do hope that the other packs pull their heads out of their bums and get with the times.

I Absolutely Love This Series!
Especially the shifter history as it entwines within the plot of the series.
The somewhat lost/omitted stories of ‘True Omegas’ and in this book especially, there seems to be a lot more spoilers of this particular part of shifter history which I thoroughly enjoy.
Of all the characters so far, I love Holland - his whole persona is just magnetic and I just love his attitude - reminds me a little bit of me 😆
I highly recommend and guarantee you will love this series if you appreciate mmpreg audiobooks (this is my preferred reading format - sadly for medical reasons).
The only frustration is the frequency in which they are released in audio format. I know a lot of the time that the expense is out of the pocket of the authors themselves, and that sometimes it can be at a loss, as well as the costs of the narrator too - this I wholly appreciate, but frustrating all the same when you have such a great series as this, but books that are published as far back as 2017 are only now available in audiobook format.
I am so ready for book 5, but not available as yet, or a possible release date if any 😞
Please please can this be soon?? I really want to read eventually the conclusion of the packs true history and what it is that makes a true omega so special! 😊
