Fantastic book, I learnt so much :)

I absolutely loved listening to this book. Dr Don Colbert explains everything so well & opened my eyes to all the different factors that affect fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue. I feel equipped & empowered to try the techniques & treatment he recommended & I loved the prayers & Bible verse interspersed throughout the book

Interesting to say the least

I was excited upon beginning this book as I have often turned to my faith in times of difficulty, however I quickly realised that perhaps this was the wrong book.
It was probably more aimed at real hardcore Christians, which is not me. It was very much that “God will cute you if you ask”, which I actually found very frustrating as every Doctor I have seen has said CFS and ME patients are rarely cured. However the prayers and readings from the Bible were nice and spaced out nicely.
My next critique is that literally every chapter and every few minutes the book recommends or signposts you to another book by Don Colbert. It never really discusses the actual ways to combat the symptoms spoken about, besides being constantly signposted to another book and I got so tired of that. I bought this book to help, and I don’t particularly want to buy the Don Colbert Bible Cure collection!
I found the reader very robotic and after a while it grated on me.
Overall I hate to say that I found this book a waste of my energy, and I feel bad for saying that as I had high hopes at the beginning and was emotional in the prayers, but that soon wore off.
