About this listen
Are you exposed to stress and anxiety? Are you going through some tough times that make it difficult to focus and live your life?
According to the WHO, around 15 to 20 percent of the population is neurodivergent. In abnormal psychology, neurodiversity is characterized by an individual with variation in basic brain functioning and cognition, for instance, in social situations, learning, etc. But this is something not to be ashamed of. Whether you are autistic, submerged in depression/anxiety, or watching your siblings/children/friends going through the same phase, you all deserve to be happy!
This book uses dialectical behavior therapy, which deals with individuals with intense reactions to emotions. It helps you cope with difficult emotions and makes your life easier. This DBT skills training manual will rejuvenate your life by making you happier and less prone to stress and anxiety and will help you take charge of your neurodiversity and turn your life around!
This life-changing DBT therapy workbook will contain:
- A detailed description and definition of neurodiversity so that you can realize the challenges that they face and their remedies
- Introduction to dialectical behavioral therapy, its importance, and components that make it successful
- Exercises to manage daily wellbeing and improve your daily outlook on life
- Exercises and tips for managing your emotions in fears and phobia and how to beat them
- Precautions against anxiety and panic attacks also contain activities for managing panic attacks and countering them.
- Exercises that would help you counter intrusive thoughts and maintain positivity in you

Very useful information.
This book is written for lay people, the techniques are well explained and the pictures are excellent, which makes it the perfect DBT self-help book to start from. The only thing it left me wanting more, but I think it's kind of the point, one can start from here and continue to learn about DBT.

A very useful workbook.
This is an valuable resource for doing work to improve your life on your own. Therapy is always a good idea, but outside of time meeting with a counsellor, it helps to have tools to continue the important work. A very useful workbook.

Much needed
This book actually focuses on the topics of fear, stress, worry, anxiety, panic attacks and intrusive thoughts, as well as how to cure them. It also has a lot of pragmatic information. I'm hoping it will be useful in dealing with a variety of everyday issues.

Excellent documentation
It takes a long time to get my therapy appointments but I ate this workbook up in a night. I'm using the workbook in a daily planner to reflect every day.

I’ve got a plan
Techniques to use mindfulness and emotional intelligence to beat the anxiety. I’m eager to use the 12 week plan. I’ve already gleaned great advice from the exercise included in this book. Through a better understanding of stress, anxiety and unchecked thoughts, I can approach them all with tools from this guide to combat them.

A rushed unworkable list not presented in anyway helpful to neurodiverse people.

Not worth your time
The book is extremely badly narrated. Intonations are sometimes so inadequate, especially when a sentence breaks between the pages. The narrator keeps repeating sentences for some reason. The way exercises are narrated makes it absolutely impossible to comprehend them.
Overall, the book is more about the neurodivergent people than about dbt itself. If you are ND yourself don't waste your time.
