About this listen
The BRAND NEW psychological thriller from the NUMBER ONE bestselling author of The Nurse
A terrible wife...
Sarah Westfield is unhappily married to perfect husband Nick. Handsome, devoted and kind, he should be the ideal man for her, but Sarah knows their marriage is the biggest mistake she’s ever made…and she wants out.
But then Nick offers her one last chance to make their marriage work – a baby.
Sarah is horrified – a baby would tie herself to this man forever…wouldn’t it? Or could it be exactly what she needs?
So Sarah agrees.
A terrible mother?
When the baby arrives, Sarah struggles with motherhood and her resentment towards Nick only grows. Sarah feels more trapped than ever, but she loves her precious daughter...doesn’t she?
And then baby Kaya goes missing...
And everything Sarah has ever believed in comes crashing down around her...
Don't miss another page-turning, nail-biting read from the queen of psychological thrillers, Valerie Keogh! Perfect for fans of J.A. Baker, Keri Beevis and Nina Manning.
‘Keogh is the queen of compelling narratives and twisty plots’ Jenny O'Brien

'Keogh is no. 1 for a reason, and this is another perfect slice of domestic noir. A definite 5 stars.' Bestselling author, Keri Beevis

Surprisingly, I didn't gel with this..............
I am a massive V K fan and have been avidly awaiting it's release.
For some reason, I couldn't get into it and I tried and tried until the point were I had invested too much time to not see it through to the end. I did stick with it and Rose Robinson did a great job with the narration so I'll keep it in my library and re-visit it at a later date.
Maybe it's ME that wasn't in the right headspace for it just now. Will try it again in the future

Totally compelling
Another compelling mystery from Valerie, whose writing style I have already come to love. Great characters and excellent narration. Highly recommended. But please, Audible, don't automatically skip to book previews for suggested titles, as I find this annoying and stressful.

So unrealistic
Didn’t get this at all. First Valerie Keogh book and last. Ridiculous storyline and characters.
