While experiencing all the horrors of the holocaust, Eleonore turns to friendship for survival. Unrealistic
The story was completely unbelievable as in none of it would have happened and the girl would be dead by page two, instead of being admirable the lead character came across as selfish, and entitled. The ending was absurd

Barbara Cartland in Auswitz
This book is terrible. Mediocre narrator (let's get that out of the way), but the whole flimsy plot would be laughable if it were set anywhere else. The writer has an insulting, misogynistic opinion of women (plucky little Aryan seamstress pursued by evil Camp Comendant and buff camp guard) and a great liking for the word 'chuckle'. it's truly dreadfully written and has to be some kind of vanity project, because l simply refuse to believe that it was accepted by any real publishing house. The only thing l can say about the narrator, is that her sickly sweet voice just about sums up this sickly sweet not a single laugh 'Springtime for Hitler' without music opus. Thank God it was free. l've already deleted it.
