Summary
He was given another chance at life and from the infinite possibilities available, he chose to come back as a mechanical man, a Metalman, named Repair. Now he has to contend with a research lab full of gnomes who say he owes them for bringing him back from death, a strange city that is going through a magical industrial revolution, and adversaries that want to see him broken into pieces.
Full of action, adventure, and of course crafting, join Repair on his adventure through this strange fantasy world where magic and technology meet. He’ll dive into the city’s dungeon to kill monsters for XP, and gather resources to figure out the solutions to his problems. Because if he doesn’t become more powerful, he’ll not only lose his freedom, but the life of his friend.

I like it.
I bought this book first, cause I was bored and thought "Meh. Why not!"
Even as I bought this book, my mind was half set on returning it.
Now as I have listened to it I don't think I will.
I really liked this book more then I thought I would, with comedy that I knew references to and funny situations.
I am so used to guys, making goblin voices. So I found it both refreshing and interesting to hear a woman make a goblin dialect.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Resurrect as a machine
Standard litrpg resurrect story but instead of the normal human he chooses a metal man, no food or sleep worries. Waking up he finds himself as a possession and starts on a plan to earn some money and pay off his debt.

Mechanical delights for LitRPG

Amazing.
I have loved this story from the start. I hated having to pause in my listening for any reason, if I could I would of listen in one go but RL kept getting in the way. The characters are amazingly constructed and the story flows and develop well through the story.
I also like the narrator as well and will be looking for my book that he has done as well.

Great series
I love this book and can't wait for the next one. It is also great to see that even tho the MC is humanoid he is not human himself. Interesting to see where the author takes us in this new series in a great genre

Nothing really unique here.
Story seems very tame which is disappointing to what it could be.
The MC is mechanical (Naturally) but barely explores that option.
The MC is a crafter but didn’t even explore any of it within the first hour of the audiobook. Maby it did later? I dropped off around one hour in.
I would say other things but it would spoil the story for someone that may actually like it, but the story is certainly not for me.
