A bit of a mixed bag
The plot kept me interested though a bit far fetched. Dialogue though incredibly clunky and unrealistic which made the narrators job quite difficult.

Good but not great
This isn't one of slaters best books, but it's still good, so I can't pinpoint anything particularly bad about it! I think the storyline gets a bit messy and 'over the top' in the middle, but overall it's a good story.

Good, original storyline.
Enjoyed this book immensely. It helped distract me from pain and kept me going on some long journeys. Narration was fab too.

Terrible read
Usually love books by this author but this was a real disappointment. Very strange use of language at times, awkward and natural, almost like the author was writing in a second language or trying to hit a word count. Could do with a pass through a good editor. But worst of all was the read. I almost abandoned it. Both hokey and wooden all at once. The men’s ’voices’ were the worst.
Story was overly complicated and all got a bit lost and laughable by the end.
Hoping it’s a glitch and KL Slater audiobooks will return to form.

Entertaining
This was a little silly at times with to much information to what the characters where doing and dragged the story out but over all it kept me wanting to know the out come. Once you don't take it to seriously its entertaining

Great story, mysterious and unpredictable
