Amazing story, great narration
A fantastic addition to the Crow Investigation series, a story with twists and turns, great development of the key characters and actually made me cry at one point, no spoilers! Loved it, the narrator of this does a great job bringing these characters to life and is very easy to listen to.

The End?
The series has run its course, and I have enjoyed the smooth narration . While everyone has their own opinions I found the series to be quite interesting. Being a bit of a fan of urban fantasy was very much my cup of tea (coffee if preferred Lydia Crow) good story well read.

The best so far
The best in the series so for. The story kept me engaged the whole time. I didn’t feel so irritated by the main character in this final book.

Can the families come together?
This has been a good series of books, one that I wasn't sure I would like due to being based in London but I need not have worried. References are there but you don't need to know the areas mentioned. A visit to London may have me searching for these areas in a tourist way. I hope the actual book has a map included. The ending was good and satisfying. I will look out for other works in the future.

I have been hanging out for this book.
Huge Sarah Painter fan. Love the Crow investigation series. This was great at usual. just felt a bit like it was rushed into publication. Maybe needed a teeny bit more editing with repetition of words etc. But I am being a bit picky. Must be hard when you have fans clamouring for the next instalment. Enjoyed it very much. Now I have to wait for the next one.

Very good but ..
…. the story seemed a bit flat. Normally she has a case to investigate but this series concentrated on other issues. I just felt that the story line could have been better dealt with particularly about Fleet’s dad. But I guess that’s the next installment!
