Fantastic start to a paranormal RH series

I absolutely loved this story, a fantastic start to what I hope is going to be a brilliant paranormal reverse harem series by Britt Andrews, a new to me author. Every aspect was excellent, the individuality and uniqueness of each of the characters personalities that blended with amazingly strong chemistry, the steamy sexy scenes which incorporated many different kinks and hot m/m action, the suspense, mystery, secrets, sub plots. A gripping fast paced sizzling action packed storyline ending in one hell of a cliffhanger. Cannot wait to find out what happens next. The story and characters especially were brought to life by the narrators, with the dual narration helping portray the events from the multiple POV of the story, it is easy to differenciate the characters from the way each narrator infuses each individual characters personalities into the narrative of their chapter as well as their speech.

Funniest audiobook I've come across

Is this audiobook good by most literary standards? No. Did I have the time of my life listening to it? Absolutely.

I think the number one thing to take into listening to this is to not take it too seriously. The storyline is predictable, the writing isn't groundbreaking, but boy is it worth it.

I have physically laughed out loud multiple times while listening to this and have become surprisingly attached to the characters (especially Gran, I would die for her, no questions asked).

Also, the narrators definitely understood the assignment for this and I only wish I could have seen how many takes it took for some of the more off-the-wall lines and scenes.

Please do yourself a favour and give it a listen. (And yes, I will be listening to the rest of the series immediately.)

Hilarious and hot

I love when a story is both steamy and funny, the narrators did a great job in keeping that humour up alongside the heat. I’m looking forward to listening to more in this series soon!

so funny!

So this review is for the whole series. Writing is okay, but the characters are absolutely excellent, so funny. Listening to it in public got me some funny looks because I kept laughing. If you've not got to the mouse or the blood mage, you've not got to the best bits yet , off you go

Loved it!!!

I can honestly say I really enjoyed this book. I came across this on TikTok and saw it had mixed reviews but thought I’d give it a go. I have to say Gran is my favourite character, in fact she’s my spirit animal 🤣
It’s the first time I’ve listen to a book narrated by Bridget Bordeaux and Jake Bordeaux and have to say I enjoyed their narration. Hope book two is just as good.

Humorous Why Choose

I'm not completely convinced by Jake Bordeaux's female voice and I really wish that they would use Bridget's voice for the female parts, even when they're in the male chapters. But as usual, this pair of narrators produces professional grade audiobook narration.

Story:
You're going to have to get the next in the series, since they spend most of this first book just setting everything up and introducing the characters and setting up the world here. Magic is known to humans, supernaturals exist, but humans don't have a lot to do with magic users.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

I am already a huge fan of the Bordeaux's, but hadn't yet read Britt's books. Well, I just fell in love with them. I will pick this up and read the rest of the currently released books on my kindle, but I will definitely be adding the audio audiobooks to my library as they release too.

Incredible First book

Hot, spicy and full of action and mystery that just keeps you listening and begging for more. I’m so happy to have come across this incredible book. We have a green witch of Emerald Falls who has not just one but four mysterious and very handsome men move in above her magic shop but why? And why is she so drawn to them?

A lot of cringe

Okay, so it's funny, and sexy. But omg there is so much unnecessary dialoge. I couldn't take it anymore halfway through book 3. The angsty teenager vibes. They are supposed ti be over 30 most of the men!! Bram is fun though, and Ferris, but the rest... urgh. nope.

Whoa!

Why did I wait so long to listen to this. Saige is such a lucky girl 4 DDG guys and each one of them has a different nickname for her 🥰
I loved this so much especially the hot as hell MM scenes between Fischer and Sloane 🥵 I have just gone and bought the next 2 audiobooks and hoping the rest of the series follow soon. Loved the narration by Jake and Bridget ❤️
