About this listen
In a forgotten nook of Cambridge a little shop stands where thousands of sheets of beautiful paper and hundreds of exquisite pens wait for the next person who, with Clara Cohen's help, will express the love, despair and desire they feel to correspondents alive, estranged or dead.
Clara knows better than most the power a letter can have to turn a person's life around, so when she discovers a cache of wartime love letters, she follows them on a profound journey of her own.

Another fabulous story
A friend of mine knows the author and recommended reading Menna's books. I tried the Witches of Cambridge and have never looked back. This is the latest book to come to audiobook and as always it weaves a magical spell around you. You can never quite work out where the twists in the story will take you. Also wonderful for a Cambridge girl to read about a place that I know.
This book made me smile, laugh and cry in equal measure. The narrator is wonderful - definitely give this a go, you will not regret it.

Dreadful!
There's nothing I can say that I liked about this book. It flits from one character to another, one story to another. And ... a ghost who sits with her family at meal times and chats with the neighbours ! I was expecting to be inspired but just felt confused and frustrated. I'd better say no more.
