Summary
This is the heartwarming story of a little dog for whom one lifetime with the people he loved just wasn’t enough.
When Nelson, a little dog, is reborn, he finds out that he has forgotten all about his former life and the time he spent on the Other Side after he died. And most importantly he has forgotten all about his beloved human family, the one he came back for in the first place. All he is left with is the distinct feeling that there is something that he should remember. And that he is meant to be somewhere else. But try as he might he just can’t figure out where and why.
Nelson ends up in a country he’s never been to before, and with people he just knows aren’t his family. But what is a dog to do? As irascible and hilarious as he ever was, Nelson navigates the many twists and turns fate throws him, in his own inimitable style. A life full of adventures takes him to different countries and places, while he is desperately trying to get his precious memories back.
Will Nelson be able to remember and find his family again?

A very emotional and fantastically written book!
I really loved this book. Nelson is an amazing dog who tells his story and manages to get into your heart. A very emotional and thought provoking read, excellently narrated. I listened to it in one go and couldn’t leave it until the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone that knows that the love between a dog and its owner transcend any barriers, including physical separation and even death. A must read. Five stars all the way!

Another beautiful part of the story
I loved the first two parts of Nelson's story by Martina Mars, and I have to say I was not sure how it could possibly continue. But this is such an original and imaginative way of giving us yet another chapter! Nelson again captured my heart with his funny and deep observations. The story, which is beautifully read, leads to an unexpected and moving ending that will leave you with all kinds of emotions!
