Dr Patrizia Collard is a psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher, stress management consultant and lecturer in psychotherapy at the University of East London. Her books include Journey into Mindfulness, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Dummies and Awakening the Compassionate Mind (2014). Dr Collard's wide range of approaches and methodologies includes mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy, core energy management, existential therapy, drama therapy, yoga and meditation, relaxation and self-hypnosis. Dr Collard lives in South London.

Very good book on mindfulness exercises

This book has some great practicing exercises in it that are read in a very calm and pleasant way. I really enjoy it's simplicity and I reffer back to it every time I need an aid to meditate.

Good introduction for mindfulness

I’d give it 5 stars if the mindfulness practices were real guided meditation, not just summaries of the techniques.

I have now played this time and time again.

This is such a great book, when I get lost I always come back to this to help me reset and go back to basics.
