Summary
Perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Katie Marsh and Marian Keyes, Olivia Beirne's The List That Changed My Life takes its listeners on a hilarious and heartwarming journey of a lifetime, showing us what it means to really be alive.
Georgia loves wine, reality TV and sitting on the sofa after work. She does not love heights, looking at her bank account and going on dates or activities that involve sports bras, and she will never, ever take a risk.
That is until her braver, bolder big sister finds out that she won't be able to tick off the things she wanted to do before turning 30 and turns to Georgia to help her finish her list.
With the birthday just months away, Georgia suddenly has a deadline to learn to grab life with both hands. Could she be brave enough to take the leap - for her sister?
And how might her own life change if she did?

Feel good!
Heartwarming, relatable and down to earth. I couldn't stop listening to this audiobook, I felt like I was listening to my best friend talk to me with the book being full of funny and brilliant anecdotes, awkward situations and witty comments. I found myself willing everything to work out for Georgia and became so engrossed I was discussing the twists and turns with myself in the car!! I felt so proud of Georgia by the end of the book, it was a really lovely audiobook and highly recommend.

The list that changed my life....
A lovely story about dealing with horrible circumstances and believing in yourself.
Georgia is suddenly faced with completing her sister, Amy’s list as Amy can no longer do it due to health issues.
I loved this story. I loved the bond between Georgia and Amy. Georgia had me laughing throughout!!
I felt for Amy, it’s difficult to deal with something that has a huge impact on your life.
It’s also a shame that for a lot of people, it takes something horrible/life changing before people start to change how they live. To become more adventurous. To believe in themselves. To stick two fingers up to the world and say screw you!
We only have one life, let’s make each day count!!!l

This grew on me!
At the beginning this book annoyed the hell out of me. I found Georgia infuriating and wanted to scream at her to get a grip. However with only a few hours to go, she gradually grew on me and perhaps that’s the point. The relationship between Georgia and Amy is lovely and the scene at the end of the race is wonderful. I was sure that I was going to give this a poor rating but the last few hours redeemed it for me and caused my rating to go up.

Listened to it all in 2 days so must have been good!
These are my favourite type of books, nothing massively shocking but just a lovely story with some great characters and funny bits that remind me of my own friends and family.
Read really well (that’s a massive make or break for me)
Only got annoyed at one bit where main character is super dramatic over something silly but that was my only negative!

loved it.
simple story. Great narrator. skipped the reciting of lists which I think is always better in text when reading than narrated but sad to finish and put off listening to last chapter to avoid losing the characters.
