About this listen
Many of us think we're done learning when we finish our formal education, but that couldn't be farther from the truth!
Continuing to learn as we go through life gives so many benefits - not the least of which is the opportunity to extend our lives. By exercising our brains, we help them to grow. When our brains grow, we flourish!
Learning doesn't have to be formal, of course. Have someone show you how to crochet, play chess, or make ceramic figurines. Learn to play a musical instrument or take up painting. Solving crossword puzzles every day means learning new words and phrases. These simple mind-boosting activities should be practiced throughout your life to have the longest and most mentally healthy life possible.
Taking time each day to work on something that strengthens your mind not only improves your mental health, it also expands your horizons - you might encounter new people, visit new places, dream new dreams!

A Fresh Take on Personal Growth
I’ve always loved learning, but this book gave me a whole new perspective on how to make it a bigger part of my life. It made me realize that growth doesn’t have to stop after school—it can be woven into everyday routines. I appreciated how relatable and practical the advice felt, especially for someone balancing work and family. The tips for staying curious and pushing past comfort zones really stuck with me. It’s one of those books that leaves you motivated to take action and actually try new things instead of just thinking about them.

Inspired to never stop growing
The way it ties personal growth to lifelong curiosity was so motivating. It reminded me that learning doesn’t have to end when school does—it’s about curiosity and growth at every stage of life. I’ve started applying these ideas, and they’ve already opened up new opportunities for me.

Very motivating
This book is encouraging to keep learning! Not sure about you, but once I was done with university and started working, I thought that keeping learning about my job is enough as a personal development.
Clearly, I was wrong!
The author explains the importance of continuing to learn and how it impacts our brain's function. The book provides different resources which is good as you can take advantage of the momentum!
