About this listen
A tyrant has been stopped. A new adversary, far more dangerous than the last, has emerged. The war has only just begun.
"It has been four months since I murdered my husband, Eric Dane. Four months since the battle that was supposed to change our world. The year is 2044, and although we may have won the battle, the war is far from over. We believed that our mission was accomplished, that freedom was finally within our grasp. We were wrong. We now face a new danger, one without a face, without a name. An unknown enemy who is far more dangerous than Eric Dane ever was. Who is this adversary lurking in the shadows and pulling all the strings? My father is missing and Aidan is gone. I have to dig deep to find the strength to go on, but with the support of Reed, strong, fearless, and my equal in every respect, I feel that nothing is impossible. We are exploring new frontiers and finding allies in the most unlikely group of heroes. With a NUSA convoy let loose in the Rebeldom to hunt me down, I must prepare to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the people I love and have sworn to protect.
My name is Rebecca Davis. I am a super-soldier, a mother, a daughter, and a friend. And I am the leader of The Legion. More importantly, I am a woman who will not stop until this war is finally, truly over."
The Legion is the gripping sequel to The Legacy (Book 1 of The Legacy Trilogy) with more twists and turns than ever before, and an ending that cries out for the final chapter.

Another big win for this author, totaly loved it
This picks up where the last one stopped, with a more intent ride, filled with surprises, excitement, death and sorrow but also with excitement, fun, love. The author gives another thrilling listen that I couldn’t put down. The last book had a nice ending and closure with this one the author gives you a cliffhanger but a nice one. I can hardly wait to see what she brings into the next story. Who will live, who will die and what new characters will come along. How will these characters hold up to a man who wants them all dead, making super soldiers that will blow your mind. Just when I thought I had seen it all the author throws in a tailspin that has me doing a three sixty. I would hold my breath saying no no that can’t be, I would smile, laugh and want to cry as yet another was lost. I felt like these characters were my family. It really was an exciting ride.
I thought the narrator did a really good job, she shows true emotion, with lovey character voice. You always know who is talking, what they are feeling as well as their pain and sorrow. She puts excitement into her voice giving you the thrill, danger, love pulling you in giving you a highly entertaining listen that kept me spellbound. There were no repeating of words, no volume, the only issue I have was when she announced the chapters, it did not move smooth, the chapters where done in a different voice that really set the story off, it took me a few seconds to get back into the story. It should have been done in a more natural voice which would have give the story a nice flow. Beside that the narrator pulled me in taking me way making me feel I was right there seeing the story before my eyes.
I loved the plot, the author pulls you in giving you a compelling story that you don’t want to put down. The story is believable giving you a look at what the future might hold. The characters has soul, meaning, each has a place, a role, it broke my heart when friends, family, love ones die, all for one cause bring our nation back together as one. Taking out the power hungry who want to rule the USA, there is a little of everything between these pages. So many lives lots so we can become One Nation Under God taking back what others have take from them. It truly was a compelling listen that I truly didn’t want to end.

powerful sequel ..actionpacked
After reading the first book of the series 'The lagacy' and thoroughly enjoying it I was both eager and a little hesitant to start the second. Sometimes sequels dont live up to the expectations , but in this case I was wrong and it exceeded them. Well written , powerful and action packed . The series feels so unique and different to most I have read. Highly recommend to those that want to escape and be immersed . I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review

Such a good second book of the series
I really enjoy the way that Lynn Devereux brings these characters to life, it really makes the story zing. And it's so easy to tell who is who without even thinking about it, which I love.
OH MY GOODNESS you cannot possibly leave it there!!!! Oh, Oh, Oh. Ok so I really, really enjoyed this story, it picked right up where the first book left off (which I love!) and it got under my skin and just started scratching around. I really enjoyed learning more about the world they are in and all the new characters. Seeing how the relationships are built and broken and how they cope with their world. But now I HAVE to know what is going to happen next!!!

The Legion
This was an excellent follow up to book 1.It started where we left off,in a dystopian world full of feral humans and worse. The tyrant they stopped may not have been as bad as the new one.Rebecca carries the world on her shoulders.I am looking forward to book 3. Lynn Devereux was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'
