The Island of Adventure
The Island of Adventure is a brilliant book and is part of a eight book series. It includes Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Anne, Jack, and Kiki the parrot.
This book is all about the four friends meeting together and having a marvellous adventure from Gloom Island to secret societies. Join the four on the first book of the Adventure series.
The answers are on the second and fourth line of suns

A great adventure.
Classic Enid Blyton. As usual the young adventurers get mixed up with a gang of baddies who they defeat.

Off to Adventure
We really enjoyed listening to this book. It was full of adventure. Our favourite character is Kiki the parrot because she always has something smart to say. Good for fans of the Famous Five.

Jolly romp......
a jolly romp for children to either read or listen to, I enjoyed it far more than 'The sea of adventure'. I enjoy many books written with children in mind and because I like 'The famous five' I gave these books a go,they don't lend themselves to adult readers as well as The Five .
Blyton seems to use very similar characters in both sets of books and in 'The Adventure' books the children seem more sophisticated but for me not as likeable.
