Annie Aldington brings a story to life!
Annie Aldington must be the finest audio book reader I’ve ever listened to. The emotion, voice changes and passion she puts into the story she is reading are genius. At the end of the book with tears in my eyes, I then remember these people are criminals, murderers, thugs and overall quite nasty people. However the feeling injected by the reader left me feeling warm for them like they were part of the family?!! Bizarre! A gripping story though and already spent a credit on book 2 :)

it's was a really good book...a bit slow at the start but once you get into it and you know who's who I couldn't put it down

Family is everything!
Initially, I was taken aback by the language used during the narration, but by the end of this well written story, I loved the characters and the way they expressed themselves. A good story.

Another cracker from Kerry
Great read, really enjoyed this book and can't wait to start the 2nd in the trilogy. There is no narrator quite like Annie Aldington, she really brings the characters to life.

bloody brilliant
loved this book..great charecters.great beleivable story ..I was engrossed even at 2 am..I couldent put it down...and brilliant narration. by Annie Alldingtin.this is my first kerry Barnes book but it certainly won't be my last ..I'm Look in at the next one soon as uve wrote this..
