Editor reviews

A moving, funny novel about a Type-A advice columnist dying of cancer and determined to go out in the best way possible, whether that means asking her children to color her casket or finding her husband a new wife. As an author, she's even writing a book about the experience: The Household Guide to Dying. This is a listen filled with memorable moments, vivid imagery, and important messages about the end of life, which performer Heather Bolton narrates with delicacy and sensitivity.

Beautifully written

Such a moving, absorbing story, beautifully written and one I’ve re-read (and had read to me) more than once. I get something different from it with each.
