Summary
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate the legend of a supernatural hound, a beast that may be stalking a young heir on the fog-shrouded moorland that makes up his estate. The best of the Holmes novels!

Teethy.
Conan D certainly gets to the teeth of the mystery with the most fictional team ever.

Classic old fashioned tale with boring narration
I struggled to listen to this audiobook even though it was only six hours long as the narrator was sinfully boring. His accent was not reflective of a masterful Conan Doyle story and he made no effort to diffentiate between the characters. It ended up giving me a headache. The story itself though, if animated, is still a classic.

A brilliant classic detective story
If you could sum up The Hound of the Baskervilles in three words, what would they be?
Unpredictable, mysterious, gothic
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The most memorable scene for me is Dr Watsons discovery of the cave in the moors.....
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely. It's a page turner
Any additional comments?
It's included on the 1001 book list and was a re read for me. Thoroughly recommended.

good stuff
in spite of the narrators often weird accent, this was an enjoyable listen, a classic story that id long put off, plus it barely cost a pound!

Dull
I really couldn’t get into this book and although I have finished it, my mind wandered too much. I am sorry to say that the narrator was awful and perhaps someone different would have been better.
