First Class

David Timson is excellent loved every second as it’s one of my favourite films. Yikes had no idea that the films are so different to the book. But this only added to my enjoyment heartily recommend this book

Fantastic

I personally love Naxos audio books. The blend of classical music and superb quality narration makes them well worth trying and in the case of these David Timson recordings of the Holmes canon they are an essential purchase for all Sherlockians. Hounds has always been my favourite Holmes story and so I'm sure it's no surprise to you to discover that this is my favourite of the Timson recordings. Special mention must also be given to the Naxos production team who have chosen pieces of classical music that suitably capture the story and the desolation of the Moors. This is an audiobook though and the music is simply just to usher new chapters in or signal the end of chapters.

Another one down from the list of 100 must reads

A very enjoyable classic, easy entertaining reading. Very good production, I liked the lector and the spooky music albeit it was inserted a bit at random
