Summary
Winner, 2017 Voice Arts Award -- Romance
A sexy new standalone romance from #1 New York Times Best-selling Author Lauren Blakely
Ever notice that sometimes a guy will do something really stupid, like let the love of his life slip through his fingers?
Yeah. I'm that guy. But the instant I run into her again I've got one goal and one goal only—a second chance. The plan? Go big or go home.
Fine, at first glance, stripping naked at my ex-girlfriend's place of work might not seem like the brightest way to win her heart again. But trust me on this count—she always liked me best without any clothes on. And sometimes you've got to play to your strengths when you're fighting an uphill battle. As a lawyer, I know how to fight, and I'm prepared to fight hard for her. Because sometimes you need a second chance at first love.
He's the one who got away...
The nerve of Tyler Nichols to reappear like that at my job, showing off his rock-hard body that drove me wild far too many nights. That man with his knowing grin and mischievous eyes is nothing but a cocky jerk to saunter back into my life. Except, what if he's not . . .? I've tried like hell to forget him, but maybe I'm cursed to remember the guy I fell madly in love with eight years ago. Lord knows I'm not over him, so what's the harm in giving him a week to prove he's changed in the ways that matter?
After all, how do you resist the hot one..?

Provided a spark for my headphones.
Oh my oh my, both narrators did an exquisite job of bringing the characters to life, Andi Arndt & Zacchary Webber. Two of my favourites in fact.
Now the book, a second chance romance and with some serious grovelling to do over the way things ended, Tyler takes it upon himself to get down to basics, basically laying it all out there for Delaney to see. Hoping for a chance...... you know....
With a wonderful nurturing side, a romantic, sexy and passionate, and not forgetting he is a smart dresser for his job, Tyler is hot in and out of the sexy times! Delaney can certainly match him, and i loved getting to know Lauren's latest 'Hot Ones' they certainly provided some spark for my headphones!

Enjoyable, light read
A sweet, funny, super sexy, second chance romance that made my heart go pitter patter. We follow Delaney and Tyler who used to date in college, split up 8 years earlier and meet by chance in the park. It would appear that neither of them has gotten over their feelings for the other, but Delaney has not quite forgiven Tyler for the way he broke up with her. Tyler is hot, super adorable, extremely persistent, and does not think before he acts. Delaney takes things a lot more slowly, she thinks things through and discusses with her besties. No matter how much she tries to forget about Tyler and move on, it's not happening, not at all. It doesn't help that Tyler is pulling out all the stops, living by his motto of 'Go Big or Go Home'. Told in dual POV, this is an enjoyable, light easy read, and as usual from Lauren Blakely, beautifully written and narrated to perfection.

No Plot
As always these narrators were fab. I’d like to start by sending this is a go to author for me but this book was just...flat. There wasn’t really a plot, at all. I can’t really say much more without giving away the end but it was so deadly dull, I nearly didn’t finish it. If I was to compare it to say a zombie movie, it would be like this - man walks out his house, gets in his car, drives to the nearest shelter and lives his life happily away from the zombies for the rest of his life - the end.
