About this listen
Which will Mr. Darcy choose: his own freedom or her honor?
Fitzwilliam Darcy has avoided the entrapments of desperate maidens seeking a wealthy husband…until the Netherfield Ball. There's just one problem: The lady does not want him.
Elizabeth Bennet seeks a brief respite from the crowded halls only to find herself wrapped in the arms of the one man she despises—Mr. Darcy.
When Darcy's nemesis is shot to death during the ball, Elizabeth determines to help Darcy discover the truth before he's accused of a crime she knows he could not have committed. With a feisty partner to protect and his name to clear, can Darcy save Elizabeth when she becomes the murderer's next target?
The Honorable Mr. Darcy is a fast-paced mystery interwoven with a sweet and wholesome Regency romance inspired by Jane Austen's timeless classic, Pride and Prejudice. It is the first novel in the A Meryton Mystery series.

Great story
I nearly returned this as I found the narrator irritating, with the pronunciation of some frequently used words odd -daughter as dotter and Georgiana compressed into Georg-arna.
However, the story was gripping and I kept listening and either the narration improved or I got more used to it, but the jarring pronunciation became less of a problem.
A great story, which moves at a good pace and introduces some interesting characters.
