About this listen

Alongside Jack the Ripper there is another brutal serial killer roaming the streets of Victorian London....

Spring, 1890. The spectre of Jack the Ripper still haunts Inspector Walter Day; he alone is convinced that the Ripper remains at large. But now a new killer is terrorising the citizens of London. They call him the Harvest Man; he hides away in the attics of the unsuspecting, emerging at night to terrorise his victims.

This macabre new threat requires Inspector Day to confront his demons, but he soon discovers the game has only just begun....

Good book

Enjoy the story very much, the only problem I found was the narrator having listen to all the other books in this series I was so used to the other voice .

Gripping

Alex Grecian gets better and better with each instalment of this series. It is gruesome and gripping in equal measures.

A scary continuation of a brilliant series

In my opinion, this series is really getting into its stride now - the characters are more rounded and fleshed out (unfortunate phrase perhaps) and we are on our way to rounding up the last of the villains released from prison in the last book. Don't forget though. Jack is still on the loose...

Brilliant!

The Scotland Yard Murder Squad.

I'm just totally blown away with this series and I'm hoping audible will bring the others in the series out.

So Jacks still going strong and now the Harvest Mans also giving Walter Day a run for his money. It's dark, gory, fun and splendidly written and narrated.

This book really does keep you hooked and I'm afraid I gorged on it in one sitting....better go and do the back load of dishes, washing, hoovering etc now....ho hum...

Well worth the credit...

Fantastic

This is a brilliant book. The series hust gets better and better. A lot more gore than the other books but not to bad. Had me on the edge of my seat almost constantly. You need to read the other books in the series in order 1st. Now please excuse me I have got to find out what happens next!!!!!!

Such a shame

Why oh why did they change the narrator 3 books in? It has taken so much away from the book especially when the narrator doesn't do the best job at the characters. Ruined this book for me. I wouldn't listened to another book in the series with the same narrator.
