Through all the years of his reign, through stark personal tragedy and chill forebodings as his son grew into a weak, corrupted price, Edward I strove to weld a nation united from England, Scotland and Wales.

A mellow jaunt through Edward's family life

Largely focussed on Edward's family as well as his life. Historical deeds often skimmed over in favour of the man beneath the crown and his interactions with his wives and children. Not what I expected, but enjoyed nonetheless
