About this listen
Imagine a man who is a cross between a typical Southern Baptist minister and a typical Louis L'amour hero, and you'll probably arrive at a fair approximation of Eli Helmsman, the protagonist in this gritty, theologically infused western. Eli never went looking for violence - but he was bold to speak the truth as he saw it. Sometimes, violent men went looking for him...and more often than not, they ended up in boot hill.

Entertaining listen and well narrated
Entertaining and engaging listen. Ties in a biblical narrative very well with a western theme. I would say it definitely does not come off as 'preachy' at all, doesn't try to be too profound, and is more of light hearted classic western story with a classic western 'good guy' hero.
As I said it's light hearted and entertaining. Don't come expecting rich character development where our hero overcomes hardship, struggles to achieve goals, and fights inner demons. Its more of a "our hero tries to offer redemption to his enemies and failing that blows the bad guys away with a giant handgun".
Narrator did a good job of voicing the character's.
I would definitely purchase another title from this author in future.
